Machinery

Brucker Brothers LTD utilizes modern technology to take our fabrication to the next level. Our in house fabrication facility is well equipped and can handle almost any project.  Here is a look at some of our in-house equipment, machinery, and tooling.

Monarch Lathe

Grandfather’s old lathe, passed on to us in 2012. Originally built in 1927 and purchased in 1929 by General Motors, Grandfather took it home from the shop sometime between 1965 and 1970. He continued to use it heavily in his home shop until early 2012. It was still in great working condition, but he being 93 years young, wasn’t able to safely operate it anymore. We made the trek out to Michigan to drag it back to our shop here in Colorado during the summer of 2012. It continues to run beautifully – turning, cutting, and shaping better than even some of our new equipment.

Miller Millermatic 251

Best MIG welder ever manufactured, by the best welding manufacturer. And that’s not just our opinion. Many share our thoughts on these machines. If you want quality, you buy a Miller.

Digital controls and fine tuning allows the welding of most sized materials from thin sheet metal to 1/2″ plate in seconds. We have owned this welder since it was new over 10 years ago and have heavily used it almost everyday since. It has yet to ever let us down.

Miller Millermatic 210

This work horse is an awesome machine, Putting out plenty of power and holding true to the “Miller” standard. It extends our MIG capacity with the spool gun and the dual tank rack for different gases. It automatically switches between the different gases depending on which trigger is pulled. We purchased this machine new over 10 years ago and it has yet to let us down.

Longevity Weldall

This high powered 3-in-1 unit is a full feature 250 amp AC/DC water cooled TIG welder, a 60 amp AC/DC plasma cutter with CNC outputs, and a 250 amp ARC welder. This machine allows us the capacity of accurately and quickly cutting apart and welding together most metals including mild steel, stainless steel, chromoly, and aluminum.

Fabrication Table

Meet our shop’s bedrock. This table is the foundation on which the majority of our projects are built. This sturdy table’s frame is made from 3″x3″x1/4″ square tubing, and it’s perfectly flat top is made from a single sheet of 1/2″ steel. The top is drilled and tapped in a 4″ x 4″ square bolt hole pattern for endless possibilities of firmly securing any workpiece.

Punch Press (120 ton)

We designed and build this mighty multi press to use solely as a punch press. It is capable of easily and accurately punching 1″ holes through 1/2″ mild steel like butter. And with plenty of tooling not only does it save precious time but also it saves tooling life over standard drills.

Open Frame Press (20 ton)

We designed and built this useful open frame, or “C” frame, press specifically to use with our dimple dies.  It allows one to dimple a hole in upto 1/8″ thick mild steel, at an amazing depth of up to 32″ into the center of the work piece.  And although it was purpose built, it has proven it’s versitlity time and time again, with many other uses.

Kobalt Air Compressor

If you are doing any serious metal work, you must have a compressor that can keep up! We chose a Kobalt 5 hp 80 gal compressor based on it’s power and capacity while still in a fairly compact package. It delivers over 16 SCFM at just 90 PSI, which bodes well for the many air sucking tools in use around the shop. It has been in service with us since it was new in 2010, and has been used and abused ever since. It still is holding up great and cranking out our much needed air supply every day.

FlexArm Tapping Arm

This is one of the many time saving tools we have. With it we are able to power tap any hole, up to 7/8″, within a 72″ radius of the base. Its time saving ability more than makes up for the 13 SCFM that is required for it’s use.

Rockford Combo Sander

A shop always needs a good sander and this powerful 1 HP combo sander does the job beatifully.  Weather we need to clean up, deburr, or just plain shape parts, it has never let us down.

Proform Wireless Vehicle Scale

Let’s face it: it is next to impossible to truly dial in any suspension without knowing exact corner weights. We have found that there is no easier way than the wireless scales offered by Proform. These durable and accurate steel scales offer a 7000 lbs total capacity. We would be happy to weigh your ride. Contact us today to set up an appointment!

Nissan Fork Lift

This 5000 lbs capacity fork lift is a material handling dream. It is small and versatile, while being able to still handle a large load. It is the go-to machine when needing to lift heavy objects both inside and outside of the shop.

Clark Fork Lift

This old but reliable fork lift has never let us down. It features an 8000 lbs capacity and runs off either propane or diesel. And it comes in very handy when having to move the heavy items that we get to work with.
